Physical Profile: Like all her people, Yelena is tall and willowy, with delicate supple limbs and a lean build. Zarlon's have taned skin and long, lush green hair. Their ears are large and come to delicate points, which combined with their triangular fine boned faces, gives them an elvish apparance. By human standards, she is very attractive, with large almond exxagerated secondary sexual chracteristics by human standards which makes them appealing to most mammalian races. Zarlons are extremely hardy, healing quickly and being veryt resistant to disease and physical hardship, but on average are weaker than a human the same build and physical training posesing less overall muscle mass.

Interests:As Zarlon, Yelena highly interesed in arts and languages, particularly the performance arts. She enjoys the operas, ballads nd poetry of allmost all races, seeing them as windows into the heart of a culture. She composes her own works in myriad styles. Yelena indulges in dance and, curisouly for her species, enjoys cooking. She finds personal social interaction among most Federation races oddly simple so is a little put off by it.

Historical Backround: Yelena was born of the highest Family, Third of the Line in Imperial Acension. Such noble birth accorded her a fine education and grooming for the complex dance of Zarlon Courtly interaction. Her Family line was in favor, highly so and considered well place for the next few generations. Yelena, oddly outgoing and curious, longed for a
more...adventerous position than tradition demanded she fullfill. It seemed an empty and futile desire. That is until, a Federation Star Ship was contacted by the Zarlon Exapansionary Fleet. Outlanders, aliens and the like were all but unheard of. The Zarlon homeworlds lay in a relatively life poor section of space. Only the ruins of other culturals were ever discovered. Finding not one, but many other races came as quite a shock to the conservative Zarlons. But, unlike what might have been expected, they did not react with xenophobic hysteria instead embracing the newness. Several familes latest generations were tested and the Omalara's found most promising. Yelena in particular, posses the nessceary merit to be her people's representative. She entered StarFleet as the first Zarlon iniatiate. Personality profile:

Quiet and introspective. Her Zarlon nature and cultural upbrging make her extremely consious of social interaction and ettiquette. She is polite to an extreme and always somewaht formal in her actions. At first meeting this makes her seem somewhat aloof. Emotional displays among her speices are subdued by human standards, cued by tiny signals such as chages in posture and expression, even pitch of voice and aroma. Human extremes of expression are practically rabid seeming to most Zarlons, but Yelena has adjusted her behvior to fit, but still seems quiet and hard to read. Coming from a culture that produces such things as plays that last days, cultivates a extreme zen like patience. She rarely gets agitated or upset. Nothing seems to anger her. Her quarters are quietly austere, decorated with many relics of her homeworld and creature comforts alongside a rathe eclectic collection of books, images and assorted artifacts.
